In 1880, the Midland Railroad Company of New Jersey briefly succeeded the New Jersey Midland Railroad after its default. An October 10, 1899 NYS&W Bill of Lading for a delivery that arrived in a Pennsylvania Railroad box car at Maywood Station for the nearby Standard Essence Company. The artifact was discovered by MSHC members during the restoration. (MSHC collection)
