The photo feature in Vanity Fair Magazine is titled THE BOHEMIANS, and features six Grammy winning or nominated musicians including Ryan Adams, Patty Griffin, Alejandro Escovedo, Tift Merritt, Steve Earle and Dan Zanes. Vanity Fair Magazine chose these artists as they define the essence of the "alternative country" term: country that is cerebral and devoid of anything hick. The photo shoot took place on June 20th and the artists were photographed using historic Maywood Station and Caboose 24542 as a backdrop. The November issue of Vanity Fair Magazine hit newsstands on October 10,2006 and is distributed worldwide.
