Maywood Station

A Landmark Brought Back to Life, Yesterday and Today

The historic landmark station houses an eclectic collection of railroad and local history items. The collection offers a virtual timeline into the impact the station and railroad had on the development of the local area. The membership meets regularly to archive and update the collection. New exhibits and displays are always in motion to enhance the visitor's museum experience. The museum also has restored vintage New York, Susquehanna & Western ALCO S-2 Locomotive #206 and Caboose 24542, which has additional displays and an operating model train layout.

The Maywood Station Museum will be open to the public on the following dates and times in 2013:

*Saturday, March 30 - 10am to Noon (Meet the Easter Bunny/Museum Open House)

*Sunday, May 5 - Noon to 3pm (Museum Open House)

*Wednesday, June 19 - 7pm to 9pm (Free Concert/Museum Open House)

*Wednesday, August 14 - 7pm to 9pm (Free Concert/Museum Open House)

*Sunday, October 6 - Noon to 3pm (Annual Railroad Day/Museum Open House

*Sunday, November 10 - Noon to 3pm (Museum Open House)

*Saturday, December 14 - 10am to Noon (Annual Santa Visits the Maywood Station Museum Event)
