A Landmark Brought Back to Life, Yesterday and Today
The historic landmark Maywood Station houses an eclectic collection of railroad and local history items. The museum offers a virtual timeline into the significance that the station and the railroad had on the development of the local area. The membership meets regularly to restore, preserve and maintain the station as well as archive and update the museum collection. New exhibits and displays are always in motion to enhance the visitor's museum experience. The museum also has restored historic New York, Susquehanna & Western ALCO S-2 Locomotive #206 and Caboose 24542, which has additional displays and an operating model train layout.
